The objective of the graduate program in Industrial Technology is to provide students with advanced knowledge and understanding of:

Diverse technology systems and their functions and applications in the four major areas of technology.

The nature of technology; and its relationships and impacts among technological achievements, the environment, the advancement of science, the individual, and society

The application of technology systems, information, tools, and materials in solving individual, societal, and environmental problems.

The nature of technology in making ethical decisions about technological-related issues, including the development and use of technology, technology processes, and technology resources.

The safe, effective, efficient, and creative use of technological resources and materials in performing technological processes.

The application of mathematics, natural/physical sciences, social sciences and technological concepts in solving practical technology problems and extending human capabilities.

Principles, practices, and standards used in performing tasks associated with technology based systems.

Principles and practices of owning and operating a technology- or industrial-related business.

Supervision of subordinates and the management of technology systems in the production of consumer goods and services.

Design, develop, and deliver instruction in a career/technical education program at the secondary and post-secondary levels
